Fuzz Pedals

I am the first to admit it, I am not a fuzz user.  I love the sounds of those great '60's and '70's rock records where some of my guitar hero's used fuzz, but after trying a pile of fuzz pedals for myself I couldn't find anything that actually worked for me.  I've owned some of the best fuzzes out there, pedals that other players make sound great, but they didn't do anything for me.  So, I decided to build one for myself and attempt to create something I could get some real use out of.  The result is my MooseFace silicon fuzz.  My design started with the original Fuzz Face circuit and I started modifying from there.  After a lot of trial and error I have developed a fuzz that is not as fizzy and harsh, and has a huge dynamic range.  This pedal can easily be used as an overdrive as well as a fuzz.  The  fuzz cleans up with a slight adjustment to the guitar's volume knob.  If you want to add some fuzz tones to your repertoire but haven't had any luck with fuzz pedals so far this may be just the thing for you!
