Why is
this website called chuckmoose.com?
I have been asked where
this nickname of mine comes from over and over. It's
been with me since I was about 16 years old. I was in a
band called Devine Right in high school, and we often spent
time at our drummer Mark's house. One weekend night we
all got together there. His parents were out of town and
Mark's older brother was having a party with some college aged
friends. It's safe to say they had all had a little too
much to drink. One of them introduced himself to me and
then asked me my name. "Chip Booth" I replied.
"Chuck Moose," he answered, "what the
hell kind of name is Chuck Moose!". It's been with
me ever since.
